Robert Lindell from Frankfort, Maine, Barred from Securities Industry

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Robert Kenneth Lindell, formerly of Frankfort, Maine?  We are investigating allegations made by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Robert Lindell.  The SEC barred Lindell from the securities industry after he was found guilty of securities fraud, theft, and tax evasion.  Lindell was previously the subject of a complaint by the Maine Securities Division, a former representative of Revere Securities and Richfield Orion International. Maine indicted Lindell for theft and securities fraud, regarding allegations that he stole money.  The indictment redacted the names of 16 victims of Lindell’s alleged conduct.

 

Robert Lindell was a financial advisor and registered representative of Revere Securities from July 2010 to May 2013.  He also worked with Richfield Orion International from May 2013 to March 2017.  He worked at a branch office in Bangor, Maine.  Lindell was previously a representative in the Maine House of Representatives.  Lindell was also previously barred by FINRA after he failed to respond to an investigation.  He later moved to California.

 

Brokerage firms like Revere Securities and Richfield Orion International have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
