Israels & Neuman, PLC Investigates Complaints Against Robert Disman of Raymond James

Have you lost money with financial advisor Robert Z. Disman (CRD# 1023099), of Raymond James, in Las Vegas, Nevada?  We are investigating allegations of former customers related to Robert or Bob Disman. Bob Disman’s BrokerCheck report, a public record maintained by FINRA, states that Disman has been the subject of two customer complaints.

Specifically, Robert Disman’s BrokerCheck report states that one of the customers made complaints about “highly volatile stocks”, including investments that lost money with the drop in oil prices.  In May 2019, Robert Disman sought to expunge this customer complaint through an arbitration claim with FINRA.  The customer stated that his allegations were true but otherwise did not appear for the expungement process.  The FINRA arbitrator denied Disman’s request to expunge this complaint from his BrokerCheck report.

Robert Disman is a registered representative of Raymond James from 2009 to the present.  He works at a branch office in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He also is affiliated with Robert Disman and Associates in Las Vegas.

Brokerage firms like Raymond James have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
