Joseph Eckhoff, previously with Farmers Financial Solutions, Barred by FINRA
Have you lost money with financial advisor Joseph Eckhoff? The law firm of Israels & Neuman is investigating allegations made about Joseph Scott Eckhoff from Lakewood, Colorado. FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) barred Eckhoff from the securities industry after Eckhoff failed to respond to its investigation. FINRA was investigating Eckhoff after he was terminated by his former brokerage firm, Farmers Financial Solutions, for a “non-securities related termination”.
Joseph Scott Eckhoff was a financial advisor and registered representative of Farmers Financial Solutions from October 2016 to June 2018. He worked in branch offices in Lakewood and Westminster, Colorado.
Brokerage firms like Farmers Financial Solutions have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
