Losses with Joshua Stivers and GPB Capital

Have you lost money investing with Joshua Stivers and GPB Capital investments?  The law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into Joshua Joseph Stivers from Austin, Texas, who is a registered representative of Kalos Capital.  Joshua Stivers was recommending that clients make investments in GPB Capital.

GPB Capital is purportedly an investment in the auto industry.  GPB Capital has stopped paying investors, and it is believed that investors will suffer considerable losses in these automobile investments.  GPB Capital has been the subject of investigations by the Massachusetts Securities Division and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Joshua Stivers has been a representative of Kalos Capital from June 2017 to the present.  He also was affiliated with G.F. Investment Services from March 2014 to June 2017.  He worked at a branch office in Austin, Texas.  Stivers operates a branch office under the name Platinum Wealth Advisory.

Brokerage firms like Kalos Capital have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
