Have you lost money with financial advisor Brian Pearce, formerly of FSC Securities Corp. in Winter Haven, Florida? We are looking into allegations made against Brian S. Pearce. FINRA suspended Pearce for seven months, fined him $5,000, and ordered $9,723 in disgorgement. FINRA was investigating Pearce regarding allegations that he sold investments in Future Income Payments without disclosing such to his former brokerage firm, FSC Securities Corp.
Brian Pearce has been the subject of three customer complaints, one of which was filed within the last year. The recent customer alleged that Pearce sold investments in Future Income Payments. Future Income Payments turned out to be a Ponzi scheme.
Brian Pearce was a registered representative of FSC Securities Corp. from November 2012 to August 2018. He was also with World Equity Group from June 2019 to May 2021. He has worked at branch offices in Winter Haven, Florida.
Brokerage firms like FSC Securities Corp. have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
