 Robert Koestler, Formerly with LPL Financial, Barred from Securities Industry

Did you lose money with stockbroker Robert Koestler of LPL Financial in Boscobel, Wisconsin? The securities and investment fraud law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into claims made against Robert Koestler, also known as Bob Koestler.  FINRA’s Disciplinary Database reveals that Koestler was barred from the securities industry in November 2022 by FINRA, because he failed to respond to an investigation.

FINRA began its investigation in October 2022 regarding allegations that Koestler was allegedly involved with potential unauthorized trades and marked solicited trades as unsolicited.  He was subsequently barred by FINRA.

According to BrokerCheck, Robert Koestler had been with LPL Financial from September 2020 to February 2021.  He also worked at Community First Bank in Boscobel, Wisconsin.  Koestler was also previously licensed with Ameriprise Financial.

Financial advisors are subject to FINRA Rule 8210, which requires advisors to cooperate in FINRA’s investigations.  Likewise, LPL Financial are required to monitor the conduct of its advisors like Robert Koestler.  If it failed to adequately supervise its advisors, the firm can be held responsible for financial losses.
