Archie Blood, Formerly with Cambridge Investment Research, Suspended

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN

Have you invested with Archie Blood from Holland, Michigan?  Our securities arbitration law firm is reviewing claims made by FINRA, against Archie A. Blood.  Blood was under a FINRA investigation subsequent to his “voluntary resignation” with his former brokerage firm, Cambridge Investment Research.

Cambridge Investment Research filed a Form U5 with FINRA, disclosing that the firm fined Archie Blood $25,000 for selling securities away from the firm without approval.  The FINRA AWC alleges that between June 2020 and January 2021, Blood sold $400,000 in private investments to two couples who were also customers of Cambridge Investment Research.  To settle these allegations, Blood agreed to a four month suspension and a $5,000 fine.

FINRA Rules require that financial advisors disclose all securities or investment business to their brokerage firm.  When an advisor fails to do so, they violate FINRA rules.

Archie Blood had been with Cambridge Investment Research from June 2011 to November 2021 in a Holland, Michigan office.  Blood also operated Westshore Financial Services, and he currently is an advisor with Fiduciary Financial Advisors in Grand Rapids.

Our law firm represents investors throughout the country, including investors in Michigan.  Attorney Aaron Israels grew up in Holland, Michigan and is licensed to practice law in Michigan.
