Complaints Against MICHE JEAN of Morgan Stanley

Miche Jean Formerly of Morgan Stanley, Subject of FINRA Complaint for Unauthorized Trading

ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND

Are you a former customer of Miche Jean, of Morgan Stanley in Rockville, Maryland?  The securities fraud and arbitration law firm of Israels & Neuman is reviewing allegations made by FINRA against Miche Patrick Jean.  FINRA seeks to bar him from the securities brokerage industry because he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.

FINRA began its investigation into Miche Jean’s conduct after he was terminated by his former brokerage firm, Morgan Stanley, in October 2020.  He had allegedly engaged in unauthorized trading in customer accounts.  Morgan Stanley agreed to pay $35,000 to settle a case in 2021 related to his trading.  Miche Jean had a securities brokerage license with Morgan Stanley from December 2015 to November 2020.

Investment advisors must adequately and timely respond to FINRA investigations, per FINRA Rule 8210.  Similarly, FINRA Rule 3110 requires securities brokerage firms to adequately supervise their representatives.  If firms like Morgan Stanley fail to provide sufficient supervision, the firms could be responsible for financial damages.
