Ron Filoramo, formerly with Morgan Stanley, Barred by FINRA

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA

Are you a former client of financial advisor Ron Filoramo, formerly with Morgan Stanley?  FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) barred Filoramo from the securities industry when he did not respond to a FINRA investigation.

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck (attached below), Ron Filoramo has been the subject of four customer complaints which were made in March and April 2023.  The customers all alleged that Filoramo recommended that they transfer money to accounts outside of Morgan Stanley to make purported investments, but that such investments were never actually made.  This led to Filoramo being fired by Morgan Stanley and then triggered the investigation by FINRA.

Mr. Filoramo was a financial advisor and registered representative of Morgan Stanley from April 2011 to May 2023.  He had been in the securities industry since 1999.  He worked in a branch office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Under FINRA Rule 8210, stockbrokers and financial advisors have to respond to FINRA investigations.  Advisors are often barred for failing to respond to such investigations.  Attorney David Neuman is licensed to practice law in Florida and the law firm of Israels & Neuman also represents clients in all 50 states.
