Investigation of Winston Turner, Pruco Securities, and Metlife Securities

Have you lost money with financial advisor Winston Turner of Sarasota, Florida?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Winston W. Turner. FINRA filed a complaint against Turner, making numerous allegations.

FINRA alleged that Winston Turner engaged in a “course of deception” by exchanging variable annuities on his clients’ behalf.  Some of these clients incurred large surrender charges to make these exchanges.  Moreover, it was alleged that Turner forged some of his customers’ signatures.  It was also alleged that Turner failed to respond adequately to FINRA’s requests for documents and information.

Winston Turner was a financial advisor and registered representative of Pruco Securities from July 2013 to August 2015.  He also worked with Metlife Securities from December 2011 to July 2013.  He worked at branch offices in Sarasota, Florida and Flowery Branch, Georgia.

Brokerage firms like Pruco Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
