Andrew Caspersen and Park Hill Group

Have you lost money with financial advisor Andrew Caspersen of New York, New York?  We are investigating allegations made by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Andrew Caspersen. The SEC brought a civil complaint against Caspersen, alleging that he defrauded investors when he solicited them to invest in a shell company that he controlled.  It was also alleged that he used some of the money for personal use, and a recent article by the New York Times alleges that he used this money to fund his alleged gambling addiction.

Andrew Caspersen is also facing a criminal action in federal court in the Southern District of New York that was filed in March 2016.  He was alleged to have defrauded friends and family, including his mother.  He was also affiliated with Westby Corporation.

Andrew Caspersen was a financial advisor and registered representative of Park Hill Group from March 2013 to March 2016.  He worked at a branch office in New York, New York.

Brokerage firms like Park Hill Group have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
