Investigation of Michael Andre Jones
The Securities and Exchange Commission recently filed a civil action against a financial advisor from Marysville, Washington named Michael Andre Jones. According to the SEC’s allegations, Jones raised funds through an investment called Green Bash LLC, which was purported to be a company that promoted “event after-parties”. The SEC alleged that instead of using investor funds for the company, the company never had any revenue, and that Jones simply used the money for personal expenses. As part of a settlement, Jones agreed to pay over a $709,000 disgorgement of funds, along with a $709,000 civil penalty, and interest of over $77,000.
