Have you lost money with financial advisor Anthony Mastroianni, Jr. CRD# 2151249, formerly of Meyers & Associates, L.P. and J.P. Mr. Mastroianni’s CRD report, a public record maintained by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, states that Mastroianni is currently being sued in the FINRA arbitration system by two different customers, in two separate proceedings, wherein the customers allege account churning, mishandling of the accounts, unsuitable investments, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, and failing to pay outstanding loans from customers.  The two parties seek aggregate compensation in excess of $2,000,000 from Anthony Mastroianni, Jr.

 

Mastroianni’s CRD report also discloses four other past customer complaints for unauthorized trading, churning, and poor account performance, in addition to a civil judgment of approximately $1,900.00.

 

Anthony Mastroianni, Jr. is not currently registered as a financial advisor, but was registered with Meyers & Associates, L.P. from 2013 through 2016, Alexander Capital, L.P. from 2012 through 2013, J.P. Turner & Company, LLC. From 2009 through 2012, National Securities Corporation from 2008 through 2009, and Joseph Stevens & Company from 2004 through 2008.

 

Brokerage firms have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
