Clement Chichester and Brittney Sias from Westlake Village, California, Barred From Securities Industry
Have you lost money with financial advisor Clement Chichester and Brittney Sias of Westlake Village, California? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), against Clement L. Chichester and Brittney Jade Sias in separate actions. FINRA barred both Chichester and Sias from the securities industry after they failed to respond to an investigation. FINRA was investigating Chichester and Sias both regarding allegations that they received funds from a customer of their brokerage firm, Western International Securities.
Clement Chichester was a financial advisor and registered representative of Western International Securities from February 2012 to October 2017. He worked at a branch office in Westlake Village, California. Chichester also filed for bankruptcy in 2012.
Brittney Jade Sias was a financial advisor and registered representative of Western International Securities from April 2013 to October 2017. She also worked at a branch office in Westlake Village, California.
Brokerage firms like Western International Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
