Jasper Boykin from Atlanta, Georgia Subject of FINRA Complaint

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Jasper Boykin of Atlanta, Georgia?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), against Jasper E. Boykin, Jr. FINRA filed a complaint against Jasper Boykin after he failed to respond to an investigation.  FINRA was investigating Boykin after he was terminated by his former brokerage firm, MetLife Securities, for engaging in undisclosed outside business activities.  The investigation involved alleged investments in a bank.

 

Jasper Boykin was a financial advisor and registered representative of MetLife Securities from April 2015 to April 2016.  He also was affiliated with Quest Capital Strategies from December 2013 to January 2015.  He worked at a branch office in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Brokerage firms like MetLife Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
