EV Energy Partners Master Limited Partnership Files for Bankruptcy

Can you Recover Your Losses?

Have you lost money investing in EV Energy Partners, L.P., a master limited partnership based in Houston, Texas?   Unfortunately, EV Energy Partners filed for bankruptcy in the District Court of Delaware.  EV Energy Partners engaged in acquiring, producing, and developing oil and natural gas properties.  The bankruptcy was part of a restructuring plan that included EnerVest, Ltd. and EnerVest Operating, LLC.

Brokers and financial advisors who recommended investments in EV Energy Partners could potentially be liable to investors, if the advisor misrepresented the risks of an investment in EV Energy or the investment was not suitable for the investor.  We believe that most investors’ interests will be wiped out due to EV Energy Parner’s bankruptcy.
