He has represented claimants in FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Arbitration proceedings in nearly every state.   Aaron has also represented investors in JAMS and AAA arbitration proceedings, and state and federal court proceedings numerous states, across the country.  Aaron thrives on the road and welcomes the prospect of prosecuting securities claims wherever clients may need his help.

Aaron’s investment fraud cases generally arise from the actions of financial advisors during the sale or management of securities, or the theft of investment proceeds.  He has prosecuted all types of securities claims, including claims arising from violations of state and federal securities laws, “sold away” investments, fraudulent investments, stolen funds, PONZI schemes, trading and concentration issues, unsuitable investments, fraud in the sale of securities and due diligence failures related to financial products.

Aaron is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, and Illinois, and is admitted to practice before various federal districts around the country. He is admitted to the Federal Trial Bar in the Northern Federal District of Illinois, a bar limited to attorneys with significant federal trial experience.

Aaron graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a minor in business. During his undergraduate studies, at the age of 20, he started his first law job as an intern at a personal injury law firm in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He has continued to work in the legal field ever since. Aaron graduated law school from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School in 2007, where he received several academic accolades. In 2016 and 2019, he was named a “Rising Star” in the area of securities litigation by Super Lawyers magazine.

Aaron is an active member of PIABA (the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association), an organization for lawyers committed to protecting the rights of investors and investor education, where he has served as a chair of numerous committees.

When Aaron is not working he enjoys building and fixing things, traveling and walking his dog.
