Aaron O’Neal of MetLife Securities in Lake Oswego, Oregon Subject of Washington Division of Securities Complaint

Have you lost money with financial advisor Aaron O’Neal from Lake Oswego, Washington?  The law firm of Israels & Neuman is investigating allegations made against Aaron David O’Neal, who previously was registered with MetLife Securities in Lake Oswego, Washington.  The Washington Division of Securities brought a regulatory complaint against Aaron O’Neal, making various allegations.

Aaron O’Neal was alleged to have solicited customers to invest in a company called Lightfleet Corporation.  Lightfleet Corporation was purported to be developing computer networking technology.  It is alleged that O’Neal contacted a Washington resident and solicited him to invest $600,000 in Lightfleet.  O’Neal did not disclose to the investor that he received $22,500 in cash and 1,000 shares of Lightfleet for his sales efforts.  Moreover, he failed to notify his brokerage firm, MetLife Securities, of his sales of Lightfleet.  It is believed that Lightfleet investors never received a return of their investment.

Aaron O’Neal failed to respond to Washington’s complaint.  As such, Washington barred O’Neal from the securities industry.

Aaron O’Neal was a registered representative and financial advisor with MetLife Securities from December 2008 to December 2013. He worked at a branch office in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
