Edward Turley, Formerly with JP Morgan Securities, Barred by FINRA

Have you lost money in investments with financial advisor Edward Turley, formerly with JP Morgan Securities in San Francisco, California?  Mr. Turley was recently barred by FINRA from the securities brokerage industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.

The investigation started when Edward Turley was the subject of five customer complaints during 2020 and 2021.  The complaints alleged sales practice violations including improper exercise of discretion and unsuitable trading.  He has been the subject of four more complaints since then.  When he refused to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation, he was barred.

Turley was also terminated by JP Morgan Securities in August 2021, and he had been with JP Morgan Securities since 2009.  Turley worked in a San Francisco, California office.  Some of the customer complaints allege losses in high yield or junk bonds, foreign currency, and alternative assets.

JP Morgan Securities is a FINRA member and must adequately supervise the conduct of its advisors.  If JP Morgan Securities failed to do so, it could be responsible for customer losses.
