Advisor JEFFREY SCOTT ANDERSON Accused of Stealing Money from Elderly Client

 Have you lost money with financial advisor Jeffrey Scott Anderson, formerly with New York Life and Pruco Securities in Bloomington, Illinois?  We are looking into allegations made against Jeffrey Anderson. Anderson was recently barred by FINRA regarding allegations that he stole money from an elderly client.

Jeffrey  or Brad Anderson was with New York Life from April 2014 to March 2020.  Anderson was also with Pruco Securities from September 2020 to December 2020.  He has worked at branch offices in Bloomington, Illinois. Anderson has also been the subject of five customer complaints.

Brokerage firms like New York Life have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
