Edward Jones Advisor Alexandria Bovee Barred by FINRA

SUMTER, SOUTH CAROLINA     Did you invest with Alexandria Bovee in Sumter, South Carolina? Alexandria Bovee, also known as Alexandria Montgomery and Alexandria Porter, was recently barred by FINRA.  She previously worked with Edward Jones and failed to respond to a FINRA investigation regarding WeedGenics.

FINRA initiated its investigation after Alexandria Bovee was named as a relief defendant in Securities and Exchange Commission v. Integrated National Resources, Inc.  Integrated National Resources also did business as “WeedGenics”.  WeedGenics raised more than $60 million from investors but was a Ponzi scheme, and the owners of WeedGenics used investor funds for personal use.  The SEC alleged that Bovee was in contact with investors starting in 2022 and received $715,000 of investor funds for working with WeedGenics.  She was then barred after failing to respond to FINRA’s investigation.

Alexandria Bovee worked in Sumter, South Carolina and lived in both Dalzell, South Carolina and Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was licensed with Edward Jones from May 2019 to January 2023.

As a brokerage firm, Edward Jones can be responsible if it failed to sufficiently supervise its advisor’s conduct.  Investors who lost money in Integrated National Resources or WeedGenics may be able to bring claims if Bovee was involved in selling investments to investors.
