Eric Garcia, with Infinex Investments, Subject of Complaint Involving Offshore Annuities

CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA Are you a current or former customer of advisor Eric Garcia, with Infinex Investments in Coral Gables, Florida? The securities and investment fraud law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into allegations made against Eric Jose Garcia. Infinex Investments and Eric Garcia are the subject of a customer complaint that was filed in November 2022.

The customer complaint alleges that Garcia recommended an offshore annuity as an investment. The offshore annuity allegedly lost $100,000 for a customer who was seeking safety and preservation of capital. While it is not clear from BrokerCheck what investment is involved, other investors have lost money in an offshore annuity called Northstar Financial Services.

Eric Garcia has been licensed with Infinex Investments from July 2016 to the present. Garcia is assigned to several offices in southeast Florida, including Coral Gables.

Infinex Investments has an obligation to perform due diligence on any products that it sells. If the investment was not properly vetted and caused investor losses, the brokerage firm could be liable for customer losses.
