Estevao Dias Semedo Formerly with PFS Investments Barred

BROCKTON, MASSACHUSETTS Did you invest with advisor Estevao Dias Semedo in Brockton, Massachusetts? The securities and investment fraud law firm of Israels & Neuman is reviewing claims made against Mr. Semedo, formerly with PFS Investments and Primerica. The FINRA Disciplinary Database shows that he was barred from the securities industry in December 2023.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, he “conspired to defraud the RMV into issuing driver’s licenses to applicants who did not pass the road test”. Semedo was operating a driving school and allegedly paid a test examiner to misrepresent whether an applicant passed a driving test. Moreover, when FINRA began its investigation into his undisclosed “outside business activity”, he refused to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation, which led to the expulsion.

Estevao Dias Semedo was licensed with PFS Investments and Primerica from 2006 to April 2023 and worked in Brockton, Massachusetts.
