Former Ameriprise Financial Services Advisor Firasat Siddiqui Discharged

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

Firasat Siddiqui was a registered representative and financial advisor of Ameriprise Financial Services from 1991 to January 2022. In January 2022, Siddiqui was discharged by Ameriprise. Ameriprise filed a notice with FINRA’s Brokercheck, stating that Siddiqui was discharged for company policy violations related to exchange traded products, mismarking trade tickets, and disclosure requirements.

Firasat Siddiqui had worked at a branch office of Ameriprise in Chicago, Illinois. Siddiqui had also been the subject of a 2014 customer complaint, which was denied by Ameriprise.

Ameriprise Financial Services has an obligation under FINRA Rule 3110 to adequately supervise the conduct of its financial advisors. A failure to abide by Rule 3110 could render it liable for investor losses.
