BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA Have you lost money with financial advisor Glenn Brandon, formerly with BB&T Securities in Birmingham, Alabama? We are looking into allegations made against Glenn E. Brandon, Jr. Brandon was barred from the securities industry by FINRA after he failed to respond to an investigation. FINRA alleged that Brandon engaged in outside business activities that were not approved by his former firm, BB&T Securities.

Glenn Brandon was with BB&T Securities from September 2015 to February 2021. He has worked at branch offices in Birmingham, Alabama. Brandon was also allowed to resign by BB&T Securities, and he’s been the subject of seven customer complaints.

Brokerage firms like BB&T Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
