Spartan Capital Securities advisor Kostas Tsamos aka Gus Tsamos is Under FINRA Investigation

GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK Are you a customer of stockbroker Kostas Tsamos, formerly with Spartan Capital Securities in Garden City, New York? Gus Tsamos, who was affiliated with Spartan Capital Securities between January 2016 and December 2022, is under investigation by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for potentially violating Regulation Best Interest.

There is a disclosure on Gus Tsamos’ BrokerCheck report which reveals that FINRA is investigating whether he violated Regulation Best Interest by making recommendations to customers that were excessive and not in the customers’ best interest. It was also alleged that he failed to timely disclose tax liens made against him.

Kostas Tsamos had been a representative of Spartan Capital Securities. He worked in a Garden City, New York office. Additionally, Mr. Tsamos has been the subject of seven customer complaints and six tax liens.
