Brian Gimelson from Princeton, New Jersey Barred From Securities Industry

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Brian Gimelson of Princeton, New Jersey?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), against Brian F. Gimelson. FINRA barred Brian Gimelson from the securities industry after he failed to respond to an investigation.  FINRA was investigating Gimelson regarding a recent criminal charge alleging tax evasion regarding a company called Green Moss Partners, as well as numerous tax liens against Gimelson.

 

Brian Gimelson was a financial advisor and registered representative of Aurora Capital from 2007 to June 2012.  He also works with North Nassau Advisors from June 2014 to the present.  He worked at branch offices in Princeton, New Jersey; Carmel, Indiana; and Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.  Gimelson has been the subject of two customer complaints, as well as six tax liens.

 

Brokerage firms like Aurora Capital have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
