Israels & Neuman, PLC has launched an independent investigation into Clark Gardner, a former Cetera Advisors broker and his links to the Falls Event Center. Major news outlets have reported that Clark Gardner works for another company run by the Falls Event Center’s CEO. Israels & Neuman is investigating whether Mr. Gardner may have also been involved in the sale of Falls Event Center investments and the Falls Event Center’s business.
The SEC has filed a complaint against the Falls Event Center, wherein it alleges that material misrepresentations in the offer or sale of securities were made by the Falls Event Center and its CEO. The SEC further states that the event centers were never profitable. The Falls Event Center and its CEO, Steven Down, settled with the SEC, and Down agreed to pay a fine of $150,000. Major media outlets are also reporting that some of the centers associated with the Falls Event Center are facing foreclosure. The attorneys at Israels & Neuman believe that if these allegations are true, investors could have already sustained substantial losses.

Israels & Neuman, PLC currently represents another Gardner victim who was sold a promissory note, which was unrelated to the Falls Event Center. Mr. Gardner was barred from the securities industry for converting customer funds in 2014 and pleaded guilty to felony securities fraud in 2016 in Utah.
