Two Customer Complaints Pending Against Crown Capital Securities Involving Frederick Atiyeh

WHITMORE LAKE, MICHIGAN

Were you a former investor of financial advisor Frederick Atiyeh? The investment fraud and securities arbitration law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into allegations made against current Crown Capital Securities advisor Frederick Atiyeh, in Whitmore Lake, Michigan.  According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Atiyeh has been the subject of four customer complaints since 2017, two of which were filed in 2021.

The 2021 complaints both make allegations about recommendations to invest in non-traded REITs (or real estate investment trusts) and BDCs (business development companies).  The two recent complaints were both filed with FINRA arbitration and name Crown Capital Securities as a respondent.

Crown Capital Securities has had Frederick Atiyeh as its representative since 1999, and he has also been an investment advisory representative of Crown Capital since 2010.  Atiyeh has reported working in branch offices in Whitmore Lake and Northville, Michigan.

Securities brokerage firms like Crown Capital Securities and its advisors have duties to make investment recommendations which are suitable to customers, pursuant to FINRA Rule 2111.  Non-traded REITs may not be suitable for investors looking for safe or secure investments.
