Israels & Neuman, PLC Investigates Arbitration Claims Against Daniel Steiner and Lincoln Financial Advisors
Have you lost money with financial advisor Daniel Steiner (CRD #4565987), with Lincoln Financial Advisors in Jacksonville, Florida? We are investigating allegations made by former customers of Daniel Steiner. Daniel Robert Steiner (or “Dan”) and his brokerage firm, Lincoln Financial Advisors, were the subject of a customer complaint filed in FINRA arbitration.
The customers allege that Steiner improperly managed the customers’ account. It is believed that Steiner and Lincoln Financial Advisors recommended the purchase of variable annuities and investments in Atlas Resource Partners, including Atlas Series 34, Atlas Growth, and Atlas Eagle Ford. This overconcentration in several Atlas private placements caused considerable damages after the price of oil dropped. According to BrokerCheck, Steiner was the subject of three significant tax liens between 2009 and 2013.
Daniel or Dan Steiner was a registered representative of Lincoln Financial Advisors from 2004 to April 2016. Steiner worked at a branch office in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brokerage firms like Lincoln Financial Advisors have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
