Dennis Lee From Middle Village, New York

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Dennis Lee of Middle Village, New York?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Dennis C. Lee. FINRA suspended Lee from the securities industry for 9 months and fined him $15,000 for failing to disclose to his brokerage firm, AXA Advisors, that he had engaged in discretionary trading with a customer’s account at another brokerage firm.  Lee was also accused of mismarking at least 55 order tickets as being “unsolicited” when in fact the trades were solicited by Lee.

 

Dennis Lee was a financial advisor and registered representative of from AXA Advisors from 1993 to April 2015.  He worked at branch offices in Middle Village and New York, New York.  Lee’s BrokerCheck report discloses that he has three customer complaints since 2015.  He was also discharged by AXA Advisors for the conduct alleged in the FINRA action.

 

Brokerage firms like AXA Advisors have the responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
