HYUN “SHAWN” CHO FROM DEWITT, NEW YORK

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Hyun “Shawn” Cho of DeWitt, New York?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Hyun S. Cho. FINRA barred Cho from the securities industry after he failed to respond to an investigation that he received over $100,000 in loans from customers.  It is generally against securities regulations to borrow money from customers.

 

Hyun or “Shawn” Cho was a financial advisor and registered representative of October 2009 to October 2016.  He worked at branch offices in DeWitt, New York.

 

Brokerage firms like Pruco Securities have the responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
