Jason LeBlanc, formerly of Girard Securities, Barred from Securities Industry

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Jason LeBlanc of Fulshear, Texas?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Jason H. LeBlanc. FINRA barred LeBlanc from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.  FINRA was investigating LeBlanc regarding numerous allegations, including that he misused customer funds, and that he engaged in selling securities in a coffee shop (Alpha Grounds Coffee) without disclosing such to his brokerage firm, Girard Securities.

 

Jason LeBlanc was a financial advisor and registered representative of Girard Securities from April 2009 to September 2015.   He worked at a branch office in Fulshear, Texas.  LeBlanc is also affiliated with Vere Asset Management in Fulshear.  He has been the subject of at least three customer complaints, and he also was terminated by Girard Securities for this conduct.

 

Brokerage firms like Girard Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
