Ronald Nabors from Royal Oak, Michigan
Have you lost money with financial advisor Ronald Nabors of Royal Oak, Michigan? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), against Ronald W. Nabors. FINRA suspended Nabors for one year from the securities industry and fined him $10,000.
FINRA alleged that Ronald Nabors failed to update his Form U-4, after he pled guilty to Theft of Public Money. Nabors had been the subject of an investigation by the U.S. Attorneys’ office in the Eastern District of Michigan for stealing public funds. Nabors pled guilty and was ordered to pay restitution of over $123,000.
Ronald Nabors was a financial advisor and registered representative of Thrivent Investment Management from January 2009 to September 2016. He worked at a branch office in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Brokerage firms like Thrivent Investment Management have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
