Juan Hua Liang also known as Joyce Liang, with NI Advisors, Subject of GWG Complaints

Joyce Liang’s BrokerCheck report reveals that she has been the subject of two customers complaints, one of which was filed in September 2022, and another which was filed in January 2023.   The September 2022 complaint references GWG L Bonds, while the January 2023 complaint generally refers to bonds.

GWG L Bonds were purportedly investments in life insurance, which carried significant risk. In April 2022, GWG Holdings filed for bankruptcy protection, which likely means that investors will have suffered significant losses in their GWG investments.  If a recommendation to invest in GWG L bonds was unsuitable for a customer, then Liang and NI Advisors could be responsible for any investor losses.

Juan Joyce Liang has worked at an office in Daly City, California.  She also operates 9 Fortunes Insurance Services and CBC Life Financial.
