Louis Goff with Wells Fargo Charged by SEC

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

Did you lose money with financial advisor Louis Goff with Wells Fargo in Salt Lake City, Utah?  Louis Peter Goff was recently charged with fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The SEC filed a complaint against Goff and several other co-defendants, including Edger Solutions Management, a private fund which he co-founded.  The SEC alleged that material misrepresentations were made about foreign currency trading (or Forex) that was done by a convicted felon and recidivist Thomas Robbins.  The Forex trading generated significant losses in early 2020, but the Edger Solutions Management principals (including Goff) distributed statements showing false or fictitious profits.  In fact, investors suffered losses that totaled $2.1 million.  To settle these allegations, Goff agreed to pay a $60,000 civil penalty.
