Luke Johnson, with Coastal Equities, Subject of Three Customer Complaints

 

Have you lost money with financial advisor Luke Johnson of Scottsdale, Arizona?  We are investigating allegations made against Luke M. Johnson.  According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Johnson has been the subject of three customer complaints, alleging claims regarding non-traded REITs, or real estate investment trusts, and private placements.  The complaints were lodged against Johnson’s brokerage firm, Coastal Equities.

 

Luke Johnson has been a financial advisor and registered representative of Coastal Equities from April 2012 to the present.  He works at a branch office in Arizona, Arizona.

 

Brokerage firms like Coastal Equities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
