Michael Jackson, formerly with Securities America, Subject of Washington Complaint
Have you lost money with financial advisor Michael Dennis Jackson of University Place, Washington? We are investigating allegations made by the Washington Securities Division. Washington alleged that Jackson engaged in speculative and excessive trading in a customer’s account, resulting in losses. Jackson allegedly opened an account at TD Ameritrade and used options to do this trading. Washington seeks to punish Jackson for this conduct.
Michael Dennis Jackson was a financial advisor and registered representative of Securities America from 2009 to November 2017. He worked at a branch office in University Place, Washington. He has been the subject of at least four customer complaints, in which customers complained about stocks and ETFs.
Brokerage firms like Securities America have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
