PIABA Awards Aaron Israels for Outstanding Service at its Annual Meeting
We are pleased to announce that one of Israels & Neuman, PLC’s partners, Aaron Israels, was recognized at the 2018 annual meeting of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (“PIABA”), for his outstanding service to PIABA. He was one of three attorneys recognized by the national bar association, which currently has a membership of approximately 400 attorneys.
Aaron’s efforts to the organization have included assisting in amicus briefing related to the Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule, substantial revisions to PIABA’s organizational bylaws, and spending two years as co-chair of the SRO (Self Regulatory Organization) Committee, where he supervised and edited organizational comment letters related to regulatory notices and rule filings promulgated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.
In addition to his work on the SRO Committee, Aaron Israels is an active participant on the PIABA Arbitration Committee.
