ROBERT BOYER of MML Investors BARRED for Forgery Allegations

HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS

 Have you lost money with financial advisor Robert J. Boyer III, formerly with MML Investors Services in Holyoke, Massachusetts?  We are looking into allegations made against Robert Boyer. Boyer was barred from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.  Boyer was being investigated after he allegedly established multiple accounts for a customer that the customer was not in a financial position to purchase, and for forging applications.

Robert Boyer was with MML Investors Services from March 2017 to December 2020.   He has worked at branch offices in Holyoke, Massachusetts.  Boyer was also terminated by MML Investors Services.

Brokerage firms like MML Investors Services have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
