CAMARILLO, CALIFORNIA

Have you invested with financial advisor Ryan Bennett from Camarillo, California? We are reviewing allegations made against Ryan Emerson Bennett.  In January 2023, he was fired by First Heartland Capital, according to FINRA’s BrokerCheck.

BrokerCheck further discloses that he was terminated for several reasons, including that he knowingly engaged in an outside business activity after First Heartland Capital disapproved the business, that he shared customer information with an unaffiliated investment advisory firm, and that he arranged for the extension of credit from a firm customer to an entity owned by a friend of Bennett’s.

Between July 2019 and January 2023, Ryan Bennett was licensed through First Heartland Capital and worked in a Camarillo, CA office.  He also worked for TransAmerica prior to that.

Securities brokerage firms are required to have written internal policies which dictate what advisors can and cannot do.  If the advisor or broker fails to follow firm policy, that could lead to discipline against the advisor, including termination.
