INVESTOR ALERT! Frederick Holloway

Sanders Spangler, formerly with LPL Financial, Barred from Securities Industry

Have you lost money with financial advisor Sanders Spangler of San Antonio, Texas?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Sanders L. Spangler. FINRA barred Spangler from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.  FINRA was investigating Spangler after he was terminated by his former brokerage firm, LPL Financial, regarding allegations that exercised discretionary power in customer accounts without permission to do so.

Sanders Spangler was a financial advisor and registered representative of LPL Financial from 2005 to March 2017.  He worked at a branch office in San Antonio, Texas.  Spangler has been the subject of at least five customer cases, some of which complain about concentrations in oil, gas, and energy stocks, as well as mutual funds and private placements.  He also operated a company called Spangler Financial Services.

Brokerage firms like LPL Financial have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
