Alejandro A. Torres and Wells Fargo Advisors

Have you lost money with financial advisor Alejandro Ariel Torres from Hollywood and Miami, Florida?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Alejandro Torres.  FINRA alleges that Acevedo stole at least $59,600 from a 64-year old elderly widow.  FINRA barred Torres from the securities industry after he failed to respond to an investigation regarding these allegations.

According to FINRA’s allegations, in December 2013, Alejandro Torres solicited one of his clients at Wells Fargo Advisors to invest $75,000 in Towers Investments LLC, which was to be owned jointly by Torres and the client.  Instead of the using the money as capital as Torres represented to the investor, he deposited the money in his personal banking account and used it to pay his BMW car payments, auto repairs, meals, and veterinary bills.  FINRA alleges that Torres misappropriated at least $59,600 of the $75,000 given.

Alejandro A. Torres was a financial advisor and registered representative of Wells Fargo Advisors from January 2013 to January 2014.  He was also registered with BB&T Investment Services from February 2010 to January 2013, and with Global Strategic Investments from January 2014 to June 2014.  He worked out of branch offices in Hollywood, Miami, and Aventura, Florida.
