Christopher F. Foster and Global Arena Capital

Have you lost money with financial advisor Jerry I. Chancy of New York?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Christopher F. Foster.  Foster has been suspended from the securities industry for six months and fined $5,000 after he failed to timely respond to a FINRA investigation.  FINRA was investigating Foster for his termination from his former brokerage firm, Global Arena Capital.  Foster’s BrokerCheck Report discloses that he was terminated from Global Arena Capital for “theft”.

Christopher F. Foster was a financial advisor and registered representative of Global Arena Capital from January 2013 to March 2013, and with Garden State Securities from July 2011 to January 2013.  He worked at branch offices in New York City and Melville, NY.  Foster also has a couple of customer complaints on his record.

Brokerage firms like Global Arena Capital have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.

Our attorneys have represented hundreds of investors who have been defrauded by their financial advisor or stockbroker.  While we have offices in Denver and the Seattle area, we have also previously represented clients in New York.  If you have lost money with Christopher F.
