OneAmerica Securities, Inc. and Matthew J. Davis

We are currently investigating allegations made against OneAmerica Securities Inc., an Indianapolis, Indiana-based securities brokerage firm.  FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) brought a regulatory action against OneAmerica Securities for failing to supervise one of its financial advisors, Matthew J. Davis.  Matthew Davis was alleged to have made unsuitable recommendations to his clients to engage in options trading and also alleged to have made unauthorized transfers of funds to third parties (allegedly to convert and steal funds from a customer).  OneAmerica was also alleged by FINRA to have lacked adequate supervisory systems to supervise options trading and transmittals of funds to third parties.  To settle these claims, OneAmerica Securities paid a $75,000 fine.

Matthew J. Davis was a financial advisor and registered representative of OneAmerica Securities from April 2010 to July 2013.  Davis worked in a branch office in Corona, California.  He was barred by FINRA in June 2014 for the allegations.
